Merrick Halloran

I have recently completed a Diploma in Building Design at the Coomera Campus of Queensland TAFE, specialising in the use of ArchiCAD.  I am extremely proficient in this software and have an excellent understanding of the building regulations and the contemporary construction techniques.

I have previously been employed by Terex Australia, a heavy vehicle manufacturer, whilst employed I was a diesel fitter apprentice. However I decided towards the end of my apprenticeship that I was going to pursue a different career in residential drafting.

After successfully completing my apprenticeship I continued to work as a diesel fitter until I was admitted to full-time studies in my new career. Whilst completing my studies I also committed and dedicated my free time to training and qualifying for the World Championship 70.3 Triathlon event at the end of last year, along with my achievements of winning the Qld State Triathlon title for my age group last year.
