Social Housing

The objective of this project was to create a range of inclusive and affordable medium-density housing options that cater to a variety of individual circumstances. These residences were designed to efficiently accommodate the diverse needs of residents, including individuals across different age groups and cultural backgrounds, those with varying abilities, and families of various types and sizes. The design solution was required to adhere to the ten fundamental principles for effective social housing design outlined in the Queensland Government Q Companion, 2021, while also aligning with the Liveable Housing Design Guidelines and AS1428 Access to Premises, emphasizing adaptive and universal design considerations.
